My Field for Dummies – Bat Boxes
May 7 @ 9:00 am – 10:00 am EST
Come join Dr. Reed Crawford from the University of Illinois | Urbana-Champaign for his talk “A global review of bat box research”! Dr. Crawford completed his PhD this year in the Human-Wildlife Interactions Lab. His research focused on the thermoregulatory strategies used by endangered Indiana bats (Myotis sodalis) in both artificial and natural roosts. The talk will be available FREE via Zoom on 07 May 2025 at 9 AM Eastern US Time, and will be made available for viewing afterwards on the GBatNet YouTube channel. The talk is appropriate for all levels of expertise, including those who are new to the field and want to learn more about how they may plug into this type of research.
