My Field for Dummies – Biogeography and Bats

Come join GBatNet Student Representative Pedro Monico, Brazilian evolutionary biologist and a PhD candidate at Rutgers, in New Jersey, USA, for his presentation on how we use biogeography to study bats. The presentation will explore how living organisms (especially bats!) are distributed across the planet, the factors that shape their distributions, and the available tools to help us understand the intricate connections between life and the environmentThe talk will be available FREE via Zoom on 05 March 2025 at 9 AM Eastern US Time, and will be made available for viewing afterwards on the GBatNet YouTube channel. The talk is appropriate for all levels of expertise, including those who are new to the field and want to learn more about how they may plug into this type of research.
